Free Clinic

The Bennington Free Clinic is a medical clinic that provides free primary medical care, care coordination, and referral to uninsured adult residents of Bennington County and the surrounding area whose incomes are under 400% of federal poverty. We also screen all of our patients to determine if they are eligible for health insurance and other methods of accessing health care and we work with them to ensure they can become enrolled.

Food & Fuel Fund

The Greater Bennington Food and Fuel Fund is a discretionary fund which provides assistance for families experiencing financial crises limiting their ability to pay for shelter, utilities, food and other basic needs. Started many decades ago by local clergy in the greater Bennington area, the Food and Fuel Fund is now a program of Greater Bennington Interfaith Community Services.

Kitchen Cupboard

The Kitchen Cupboard is a food distribution program that provides food to individuals and families in need. The Kitchen Cupboard opened in March 2011, and originally anticipated that they would be serving between 200 and 250 families each year. In 2013, we provided food to more than 1200 un-duplicated families in Bennington, Vermont.
